Rich Brian has managed to evolve into a legitimate contender. In a darker timeline, the Indonesian talent may very well have been delegated to a meme. Instead, he's flourishing, proving doubters wrong with a respectable collection of releases, including his solid debut Amen. With a keen melodic ear a versatile production aesthetic, and an affable personality, Rich Brian has emerged as a worthy collaborator. Case in point, the young rapper has linked up with another promising talent, none other than Trippie Redd.
In fact, the "Love Scars" artist has been busy of late, tattooing his face on weekends and cooking up fire on weeknights. We've already been blessed (or cursed, if the user rating can be believed) with his latest musical endeavor, a collaboration with Lil Wayne and Lil Twist called "Fires & Desires." Alongside said collabo, Trippie has been enjoying his role as a prominent young voice in the game. In that regard, he and Brian are kindred spirits. It seems logical that they would connect for a melding of the minds.
While we have yet to hear any actual music from the pair, it seems as if a finished project is waiting to be dropped. In an Instagram caption, Brian requested a bit of fan participation, asking his legions of followers to chime in with "1400/88” if they're truly ready. What say you?
