Trippie Redd has been making headlines the past couple days thanks to his on-going beef & feud with NYC rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, but it appears this all could be a marketing ploy to promote his next album. Last week, Trippie hinted that he was “album mode,” and now the Ohio crooner has revealed some further details on his upcoming album. In fact, in the comments section of his celebrity “1 billion” IG post on Tuesday, Trippie replied to a fan’s comment, saying he’s about to drop a 22-song album soon.
“Because technically I have 2 billion and Im bouta to drop a 22-song album which will put me at 4 bill in total,” he said when talking about his 1 billion streams.
He didn’t clarify when the project will be dropping, but if he already knows the total number of songs it sounds like it could be finished and right around the corner.
Check out the celebratory post (below) and keep you eyes peeled for new music to be on the way. To hold you over, revisit Trippie’s latest “Who Run It” freestyle with Lil Yachty in the meantime. We'll continue to keep you posted moving forward.
