Remember that harmless looking kid who started that dance craze with a friend thanks to their track "JuJu On That Beat" back in 2016? Well, he is back in the grapevine due to his legal troubles. Zay Hilfigerrr, whose real name is Tyjuan Peoples, allegedly abused his ex-girlfriend multiple times and is currently facing legal consequences for the matter. Andrea Inzunza, the woman in question, has filed a restraining order against the entertainer. The 17-year-old is now legally required to stay at least 100 yards away from her as he awaits his hearing.
The court documents state Inzunza was abused moments after suffering from a miscarriage. Zay is said to have "grabbed her arm, pushed her to the ground and ripped her shirt" during an argument that erupted on their way home. Inzunza claims he also "tied her up with a Gucci belt" and proceeded to strangle her with his bare hands in another incident in February. It is reported that Zay initiated the violence when Inzunza wanted to go to sleep rather than watch him edit a music video.
This is the second reported instance of violence involving Peoples. The teenager allegedly physically assaulted his roommate and sprayed the victim with a fire extinguisher.
