Trippie Redd's debut album, Life's A Trip, was released today, and for the most part, it's very light on guest appearances. It's what makes "Forever Ever" stand out considerably on the tracklist, recruiting the talents of Atlanta's Young Thug and Reese LAFLARE, not to mention production from Murda Beatz, who's fresh off of his No. 1 single "Nice for What." In fact, this is one of four new tracks from Murda Beatz today, but it's probably the most unique. A mid-tempo sample leads Trippie and his collaborators down a rabbit hole of echoing auto-tuned wails, riffing on Andre 3000's iconic "Forever Ever" line from "Ms. Jackson" and extending his legacy of melodic Southern rap. The mic gets passed around without ever really settling on a hook, but with these artists, meandering ideas are something that very much works.
The album features the previously released tracks "Wish" and "Dark Knight Dummo." Listen to the full project here.
Quotable Lyrics:

You gon' make me fall in love for a while

'Cause I ain't with the fuckery that playing round babe
Unless we playing in the sheets, baby, mad laid
