J Hus has been freed from prison after getting caught with a knife.

On June 23rd, it was reported that UK rapper J Hus had been arrested in London "on suspicion of being in possession of a knife/bladed article." His car had stopped by police near the Westfield Shopping Centre, wherein the police the offending blade. At the time, reports claimed that he had been denied bail in his pre-trial hearing, and would have to remain behind bars until his court date later this month.

However, a Snaresbrook Crown Court representative has confirmed to The Fader that J Hus has in fact been freed from prison after posting a £100,000 bond.

While J Hus is surely happy to no longer be incarcerated, he's still got plenty of issues to deal with. According to The Independent, J Hus was dropped from his upcoming performance at this weekend's Wireless Festival in London, where he was scheduled to perform. His space was instead given to other artists such as: Krept & Konan, Avelino, and Chip. Additionally, the conditions of his bail restrict his movement heavily, banning him from entering specific areas in London including Hackney, Barking, Dagenham, and Tower Hamlets.

Hus should know about the dangers knives can cause, as The Evening Standard reports, he was stabbed pretty severely himself in the past.

J Hus will be back in court on July 20th, where hopefully he'll be able to avoid doing any more prison time. J Hus released his latest three-song EP, Big Spang, back in March, which should allow you to get familiar J Hus if you weren't already.
