Bradley denies allegations, but paid to keep accuser quiet.

Detroit Pistons guard Avery Bradley reportedly reached a settlement with a woman who accused him of sexually assaulting her in May, according to TMZ Sports.

The woman involved claimed the 27-year old guard sexually assaulted her while she was passed out drunk on May 23, in Cleveland, Ohio. At the time, Bradley and his then-Celtics teammates were in Cleveland to play the Cavs in the Eastern Conference Finals.

According to TMZ Sports, the woman later contacted Bradley and accused him of assaulting her. The two sides then worked out a deal to keep her quiet and prevent her from releasing any video, photos or audio.

Bradley denied the claims but ultimately decided to pay her a settlement "to prevent false information from being made public." It is not known exactly how much Bradley paid the woman but TMZ reports that, at one point, negotiations got as high as $400,000.

Bradley's lawyer, Brian Wolf, tells TMZ Sports,

"Mr. Bradley absolutely denies having engaged in wrongdoing whatsoever. The confidentiality agreement specifically refutes and denies the validity of all allegations of any wrongful conduct by Mr. Bradley. The sole purpose of the agreement was to protect the reputation and privacy of Mr. Bradley and his family."

"My office will take all appropriate action against all persons involved in the wrongful disclosure of this agreement. We will conduct a thorough investigation into who is responsible for this wrongful disclosure."
