Under Armour has today released their first-ever UA Pride collection that includes both footwear and apparel, driven by Under Armour teammates in the UA Unified Culture Club – an internal group whose mission is to promote, cultivate and empower the workplace for our LGBTQ teammates and make a positive impact on the business.
This is the first drop of a larger "UNITED WE WIN" collection, all devoted to our ongoing commitment to equality, justice, and opportunity for all athletes. The UA Pride Series is available starting today on UA.com.
Additionally, Under Armour is partnering with nonprofit organization Athlete Ally, a group that is working towards eliminating homophobia and transphobia in sports by educating and activating athletic communities. All proceeds from the UA Pride collection will go towards supporting Athlete Ally, and their development of curriculum designed to foster an inclusive and enriching environment for all athletes.
In partnership with the organization, Under Armour will also be highlighting on social media LGBTQ athletes who have been trailblazers in sports, throughout the month of June, starting with Josh Dixon – former Team USA Gymnast.
