We reported previously on veteran rapper Flavor Flav getting arrested for assaulting his fiance's 17-year old son after an argument arose with the fiance about Flav's possible infidelities.The rapper was out on $23,000 bail after the incident, and now more details have emerged concerning his ongoing case.
USAToday reports that Flavor Flav will stand trial on two felony charges, as a judge in Las Vegas says there is enough evidence that Flavor Flav threatened his fiance's teenage son with a butcher knife.
Flavor Flav is accused of pushing his girlfriend to the floor back in October, and wielding a knife while chasing and threatening her son in their home. While Flav didn't testify at an evidence hearing which took place on Wednesday, the 17-year old did.
If Flavor Flav is convicted he could face up to 12 years in prison.
The arraignment is scheduled for April 18th on felony charges of assault with a weapon and child endangerment. Flav is expected to plead not guilty.
