Rihanna and Drake have a confusing history together. While there were rumors they once dated, it's unsure if that's actually accurate. However, they've definitely delivered some memorable collaborations over the years with songs like "Work," "What's My Name" and "Take Care." Last week, it was revealed that she and the "Nice For What" rapper are no longer friends. Considering Drake's documented sensitivity over the years, it seems as if he doesn't even want to see Rihanna's face on his timeline.
After Rihanna admitted that she and Drake no longer have a friendship, it seems as though the "God's Plan" rapper does what most of us do when we have a falling out with someone: unfollow them on the 'Gram. Popcrave posted a screenshot earlier today of a search of who Drake is following and Rihanna doesn't seem to be one of them. At this point, he could've unfollowed her prior to us knowing about their current status as friends.
Rihanna never explained the root of their falling out but she did reveal that the speech he made while presenting her with the Vanguard Award at the VMA's made her uncomfortable.
"Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast." She said to Vogue.
Maybe one day they could mend their broken friendship and deliver some new music together.
