Under Armour and Steph Curry will soon be releasing the low-top version of the Curry 4, a sneaker that Curry has occasionally worn during pre-game warmups. Last night, the Atlanta Hawks' Kent Bazemore took the court in an eye-catching all-red colorway which is scheduled to make its retail debut on on December 31st for $120.
Today, Under Armour revealed the inspiration behind the all-red low tops.
The red "Nothing But Nets" Under Armour Curry 4 Low are inspired by Steph Curry's partnership with the Nothing But Nets campaign by the United Nations Foundation, which aims to fight the spread of malaria. Curry, who has been apart of the campaign since 2013, will donate an insecticide-treated bed net to Nothing But Nets for each pair of the kicks that are sold.
The "Nothing But Nets" Under Armour Curry 4 Low will be available on Sunday, December 31st on Under Armour’s online shop as well as their brand houses in the United States, Canada and China.
