After another Twitter spat with Perez Hilton last week, Azealia Banks has publicly stirred the pot again, this time calling out friend and collaborator Diplo over the recent 'Harlem Shake' remix fiasco. Baauer, who's signed to Diplo's Mad Decent roster, asked her to take down her remix of his track "because it wasn't her song" (it's now a viral YouTube phenomenon). She responded via Twitter, calling him a pussy.
According to a tweet she's since deleted, Diplo sent her an email today claiming she was asked to take the track down because they'd prefer to have Juicy J on it. She wasn't pleased, and let the world know it on Twitter once again, calling the producer and DJ a "snake" and stating that he owes his entire career to M.I.A.
In 2009, Diplo produced "Seventeen", one of Azelia's debut tracks, and he's continued to support her since. They appeared on the cover of the August/September 2012 issue of Vibe with the title "Azealia Banks And Diplo Crash The Dance Party." It's hard to say how this outburst will affect their relationship. This isn't the first time Diplo's butted horns with a female collaborator.
