The song itself goes hard without forcing its way through the door, a perfect backdrop for Ty Dolla and Kap G's uptempo lyricism.
I can't be sure, but "Raise The Roof" does feel like one of those instrumentals that ambiguously samples Donkey Kong 2; the jury is still out on that one. Either way, there's something hypnotic about the arrangement, especially when the DK synth rolls through a la Diddy Kong mid cartwheel.
