Just a few days after Frank Ocean's Endless vinyl and CD orders were finally shipped, fans noticed that his website was no longer up and running. At first, some of the Twitterverse thought the website was down completely, but it seems that blonded.co actually just expired.
@TeamFrankDaily first shared the news with a screenshot of a non-existent homepage. Other users replied to the account showing screenshots of the site still working, followed by @Wadtke giving a conclusion to the matter, tweeting: "It’s expired. only still works if your CDN still has the site cached."
Complex spoke to website hosting company Go Daddy that shard their technical expertise on the website happenings.
“The Who Is usually shows the name, address, email address, and phone number of the owner of a domain because a domain is property. But you can pay a fee—in our case, since the domain is registered with us, our privacy provider is called Domains By Proxy," a representative said. "You can pay a fee to have that be the name, address, email address, and phone number that shows up on the domain name…. not the person’s."
Go Daddy said they don't see the site as down and on their end the site is set to expire on April 6th, 2020, but according to Who Is the website expired on April 6th, 2018.
Seemingly, Frank is up to something and he's gotten all of our attention.
Is the site working for you guys?
