Listen to the intro track of G Herbo & Southside's joint project "Swervo," dropping tomorrow.

G Herbo is getting ready to release a new project tomorrow with Southside dubbed Swervo, named after Herbo’s nickname. The project will consist of 14 tracks and feature guest appearances from 21 Savage, Chief Keef, Young Thug, & Juice WRLD, among others. Having already heard tracks like “How I Grew Up,” “Focused” & “Who Run It,” the Chicago rapper decides to come through today and share one last record ahead of time called “Some Nights,” which serves as the project’s intro.

Over the piano-driven production from Southside, G Herbo reminisces on his hard come up in the streets of Chicago, rapping about having to squeeze the trigger & do whatever it takes to survive. However he doesn't glorify his past, but rather uses it to teach the youth on what not to do.

“Straight up out the trenches/ Had to squeeze that bitch at least one time/ Me and all my niggas/ We was young and dumb, I ain't know how to fucking listen,” he spits. “So pay attention, hopefully I get to teach you different/ All you young niggas wild 'til you meet the district.”

The track can be yours for free when you pre-order the album now on iTunes before it arrives later tonight at midnight. Hit play and let us know what you think!

Quotable Lyrics:

Scared I wasn't gon' make it home some nights
Wondering am I gon' be a homicide
Kill you quick and find a side
Crazy, guess I get that from my mama side
Niggas beef with us, don't even come outside
30 in the Glock, I keep that on my side
