Serena Williams takes home the W.

Serena Williams just won her first Wimbledon match since giving birth and we're not surprised at all. The 36-year-old beat Arantxa Rus of the Netherlands 7-5 6-3 securing her eighth Wimbledon title. "I am happy to get through that," she said. "It's a great feeling to be back, it's been a couple of years since I played on grass, so it is difficult trying to find the rhythm."

Before her match Serena talked about drug testing and how she realized that she gets tested much more than other players. “It would be impossible for me to not feel some kind of way about that,” she said. “I just found it quite interesting.”

She added: “Tennis has given me so much. It’s such an amazing sport. I feel like equality, that’s all I’ve been preaching, it’s all about equality. If that’s testing everyone five times, let’s do it. Let’s be a part of it. It’s just about being equal and not centering one person out. Just due to the numbers, it looks like I’m being pushed out. Just test everyone equally.”

In her 23-year career, Serena has never once tested positive for illegal substances in her system and has always been tested more than her peers,  four times more to be specific.
