Dave East thinks about his dream girl on "Day Dreaming."

Dave East hasn't been slacking one bit since he stepped in the game but within the past eleven months, he's put his best foot forward with everything he's released. Back in December, he released the Karma mixtape with DJ Holiday which was followed by the sequel to his major label debut, Paranoia: A True Story. The rapper is now getting ready to release Karma 2 this week and today, he shares a brand new track off of the mixtape.

Dave East delivers a smooth effort on his latest track, "Day Dreaming." East's latest track connects him with Floyd Miles who handles the hook and Lameboy who holds down the production. This serves as the third track we've heard off the project following "Us" with Gunna and "Imagine." "Day Dreaming" is a smooth effort from East that finds him reflecting on his dream girl.

The Harlem native recently shared the tracklist for the project. The rapper enlisted Fabolous, BlocBoy JB, Gunna, Lil Durk, Murda Beatz and more for the project. It seems like it could be one of the best projects in his catalog so far. We'll ultimately have to find out later this week when Karma 2 finally drops.

Quotable Lyrics
I like her when I'm actually sober
She don't do the Fashion Nova
My other chick trippin'
She left her lipstick in back of the Rover
