JJ Redick #17 of the Philadelphia 76ers looks on during Game Five of the Eastern Conference Second Round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs at TD Garden on May 9, 2018 in Boston, Massachusetts.
JJ Redick is staying put this offseason.

The NBA offseason has only just begun, but things are already looking insane. LeBron James' move from the Clevland Cavaliers to the Los Angeles Lakers left a large vacuum of power in the Eastern Conference. It also positioned the Lakers to return to the playoffs after a five-season hiatus. Back in the Eastern Conference, teams are starting to shuffle to fill the gap that will be left in the playoffs, since the Cavs will undoubtedly fall from their number one spot. Next year will be interesting in the NBA. The two most likely teams to take over the conference for the next several years are the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 76ers are filled with young promising talent, but one veteran has decided to stay and play in Philly. JJ Redick, who has spent time with the Orlando Magic, Milwaukee Bucs, and Los Angeles Clippers, has signed a one year deal with the 76ers that is worth between $12-$13 million reports ESPNRedick averaged 17 points while shooting 42 percent from 3-point range last season with the 76ers. He also averaged 18.2 points in 10 playoff games while Philadelphia appeared in their first playoff series in five years. The upcoming season will be Redick's 13th season in the NBA.
