As Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference slowly encroaches, the company is expected to disclose the latest updates for their iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS operating systems.
However, one developer took to Twitter to unveil one of the key revisions to the macOS, a dark mode feature. Steve Troughton-Smith stumbled upon a 30-second preview that showcases the developing software operating in dark mode, and tweeted out several screenshots of the upcoming Xcode 10.
The current macOS does have a dark mode feature that can only be applied to the menu and dock bar, which can be accessed under System Preferences and General Settings. However, this forthcoming update will seemingly offer a system-wide feature.
Additionally, an Apple News app icon will be visible and accessible in the dock, while the App Store will begin to feature video previews similar to the iOS.
