With "Memories Don't Die" right around the corner, Tory Lanez speaks up.

With a seemingly endless collection of mixtapes in his catalog, talented Torontonian Tory Lanez has amassed himself a respectable fanbase. Still, it feels like the I Told You rapper is only scratching the surface. In that regard, his forthcoming Memories Don't Die is shaping up to be one of the year's most anticipated drops, especially after a few false alarms late last year. Well, we can finally rest assured that it's coming, as yesterday Tory confirmed a March 2nd release date.

Now, Tory has already entered promotional mode, stopping by Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show for a detailed interview about the upcoming project. For one, Zane managed to get a few features out of Tory, who reveals a pair of New York veterans. I did one with 50 Cent. I did one with Fabolous. Yeah, this crazy record with 50," says Tory, assuring Zane that it was all done in studio:

"Yeah, nah it was crazy. He's honestly one of my favorite people. He's like a mentor to me. Every time, I’ll sit there and talk with him for hour and he’ll sit there and tell me the stories and tell me you like all of this stuff and the s*** is crazy. Like that's like one of my favorite people like period point blank. Like one of my favorite artists, one of my favorite rappers like point blank period you know I'm saying."

Tory also goes on to explain the meaning behind the album title, as well as confirming features from Nav and Future. For more from Tory, be sure to check out the full interview below.
