Toronto is easily the most concentrated Canadian center for hip-hop, becoming one of the hubs for rappers and singers to make their way into the spotlight. With Drake mentoring much of the OVO crew, artists outside of Drizzy's collective have been thriving in the 6ix too. Throwing his hat into the game, JETSET has been at it for a short while, making an impact with his voice since his introduction last year with "Time Of Your Life."
Claiming to make his own waves, JETSET has comfortably paved a lane for himself to succeed in T-Dot, powerfully stating that "everything I'm not made me everything I am." If you've never heard one of his tracks, this is a good place to start. Let us know if you're feeling it.
Quotable Lyrics:
Riding through my city in my own lane
I don't need a beach I make my own waves
I been trying to take over my city
Trying to take my brothers with me
After everything we been through
