Coming off the release of his Care For Me album, which featured Chance The Rapper, rising Chicago rapper Saba decided to make his way by the Shade 45 radio station this week in NYC and pay a visit by Sway In The Morning, where he blessed listeners on air with a lethal freestyle.
Tackling Kodak Black's popular Project Baby 2 track "Roll In Peace,” the Chicago rapper switches up his flows & shows off his double time rhyme scheme, rapping about his hustle, come up in the game, the streets, & a whole lot more.
"We was the misfits, now look at us/Hits after hit, that's like batting practice/Boy this shit can get ugly, no not a catfish/But I been slaying niggas like I'm a dragon," he spits on the London on Da Track-produced instrumental. “Boy you wouldn't be hip hop with a medallion on/ Oh you mad Im stylin’ on/ Standing on my own ground like I went and put the towel down/ King shit nigga bow down,” he adds.
In addition to the bars, Saba also took time out to talk about his new album, & come up in the game, among other things.
Check out the lethal freestyle around 17:55 mark (below) and let us know what you think. Saba’s Care For Me album is available now on iTunes.
