Casanova once threatened to knock our collective teeth out, and we basically thanked him for it. The Brooklyn rapper has continued to expand on his signature sound, which picks up where pioneers like Sticky Fingaz and DMX left off. This time around, however, Cas has tapped a bonafide hip-hop legend in DJ Premier, who came through to lace the young gunner with a grimy instrumental. In fact, the piano-driven beat feel like unexplored territory for Primo, who tends to stray away from the darker aesthetic. This one is evocative of the classic Lox posse cut "Ain't None Of Ya'll Better," and that's far from a bad thing.
Unfortunately, this one is exclusively found in international markets only for the time being. Yet the more resourceful among you have no doubt already heard Cas' latest single. While it might not be destined for commercial greatness, there are still merits to winning the heart of the streets. For they are they ticket to longevity.
