Troye Sivan came through Spotify's studios in New York City to revamp a couple songs. The first one was his own single entitled "Bloom." The second comes as a slight surprise. The artist decided to take on Post Malone's "Better Now," which appears on beerbongs & bentleys. Sivan's version definitely doesn't bump as hard, still, it gives the lyrical content more space to hit home in a different way than its original setting could provide. The instrumentation is sparse in comparison. It starts with a mostly acoustic style that slowly builds up with electro programming. The atmosphere has the dreamy pop vibes the singer is known for.
Sivan can be recognized by some of Ariana Grande's fans. The pair created a summer love song called "Dance To This" that dropped last month. His second studio album Bloom is set for release in August, leading up to an American Tour that kicks off in September.
Quotable Lyrics
I just wonder what it’s gonna take
Another foreign or a bigger chain
Because no matter how my life has changed
I keep on looking back on better days
