Just because Barack Obama has a little bit more time to watch college basketball nowadays doesn't mean his NCAA Tournament bracket will be any better than when he was President. His words, not mine.
Obama took to twitter today to reveal his finished bracket which includes a couple of upset picks that we like, such as #11 Loyola-Chicago over the #6 Miami Hurricanes and #12 New Mexico State beating #5 Clemson. 44 also has Syracuse beating Arizona State in tonight's "First Four" game and then advancing to the second round after beating #6 TCU.
Other than those three upsets, Obama has most of the favorites moving on and all of the #1 and #2 seeds advancing to the Elite 8, with the exception of Duke, who he sees losing to the Michigan State Spartans in the Sweet 16.
His Final Four consists of #1 Virginia vs #2 North Carolina and #1 Villanova against #3 Michigan State, with the NCAA title game pitting the Virginia Cavaliers against Tom Izzo's Michigan State Spartans. In the end, he has MSU is taking it all.
Over in the women's bracket, Obama has UConn going all the way, beating Mississippi State in the championship game.
