According to reports, Lebron James has already made the decision on where he will be spending the next season, and plans to announce the news on Tuesday, July 3rd. As many had pointed out, at the time the tweet was sent, Lebron hadn’t even sat down for his scheduled meeting with the Philadelphia 76ers yet. Wright would respond to such comments, adding that Lebron’s meeting is still happening and “isn’t in conflict with what I just reported.”

Friday, Lebron James officially entered free agent territory once again when he opted out of his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. At the moment, most have James pinned as either making a move to either Philly or Los Angeles if he chooses not to return with the Cavs. Last month, Gary Payton fueled up the Los Angeles rumors when he revealed that Lebron’s 13-year old son had committed to playing at Sierra Canyon High School next year.
“That’s where his son is going to go to school [with] Scottie Pippen’s son and Kenyon Martin’s son. So, that’s a move that they’re going to make,” Payton remarked. “If everybody looks at it with a son at that age, you don’t want to be away from him during that period of time. During the time that we’re having, basketball is school time. I think that he needs a father during that time and that’s it. I don’t think LeBron is that type of parent, I think he wants to be around his son a lot and see his son play a lot."
Naturally only time will tell just what Lebron has decided to do come July 3rd.
