We’re not sure if this yet cements the inheritance of musical genes from Kanye West, but it sure is cute. A couple of days after finally releasing his Ye studio album, Kanye West has shared a new video of his daughter North West singing the hook from one of the project’s cuts “No Mistakes,” as she faintly pushes out: “Make no mistakes, girl, I still love you.”

The track, produced by Kanye, Mike Dean and Che Pope, features vocals from Charlie Wilson and Kid Cudi with a sample of Slick Rick’s “Hey Young World” track as the “Believe it or not, the Lord still shines on you” line is interwoven throughout the song.

The cut, like most of the tracks on Ye, is an introspective track that highlights Kanye’s love for Kim Kardashian despite rumors of the couple’s transgressions. That theme is continued in the outing’s closer “Violent Crimes” as Kanye raps about not knowing how to cherish the importance of women until he had his daughters—North and Chicago.

In a new sit-down with Big Boy, Kanye expressed that we’ve come to hear of the project was not its original form as he tossed out the original version at the top of May in light of new energy and the negative headlines he’d been making following his comments about slavery.

“I wanted something to match that energy" that the "universe is giving me," he said. "We just sat there and really honed in on the words. Also, we know now, it's all headlines […] I took a bar off the album. It was just too sensitive about [slavery] and stuff."
