Listen to the Atlanta native's most recent track.

Gorilla Zoe's seems to be picking up steam in terms of his output. Two weeks after dropping "Fat Jesus", the rapper comes through with "Paranoid." The latest contrasts the previous offering with its commercial sound. The content even holds pop culture references like the wink at Nirvana's logo in the single's cover art or Rockwell's "Somebody's Watching Me" in the hook. The artist ventures into pop territory while spitting about the feeling of being watched, along with his usual treatment of his go-to sexual and drug-induced themes. The synth bass line at the beginning of the song is reminiscent of those that popularized tracks like Iggy Azealia's "Fancy." Although the sound isn't as fresh as it could be in that regard, the homie is armed with actual rap skills and a unique vocal timbre.

Fans can expect more material from Gorilla Zoe in the near future. We'll keep y'all in the loop.

Quotable Lyrics

Hundred round drums on the handgun
Trappin out the spot they abandoned
Turn your trap into a canyon
Make a nigga Dipset, no Cam'ron
