Fortnite just keeps getting more popular. Drake and world renown gamer Ninja teamed up once again this week to play the battle royale styled game, which concluded with Drizzy donating $5k to Ninja after securing an impressive win. Drake has also expressed his intent to rap about Fortnite, but only if the game developers create a "Hotline Bling" emote. As if getting a co-sign from the 6 God isn't enough, Fornite is now dropping a new update that allows gamers to use replay functions, along with a plethora of other new add-ons.
According to Epic Games blog page, a 50v50 Limited Time Mode, 4 new heroes, and illuminated Neon Weapons are all included in the latest 3.5 update. A device called the "Port-a-Fort" will also be introduced, that does exactly what the name implies. Gamers can throw the device down and an instant fort will appear to protect them. Sure beats building walls and stairs while being gunned down from several directions.
Other than the most exciting new toys and characters, Epic Games has also listed a collection of other tweaks, including:
-Wood, Stone, and Metal resources will now always be the first items in the inventory list (e.g. instead of Traps).
-Fixing a rare crash that occurred during logout.
-Purchased V-Bucks are now shared between Xbox One, PC and Mobile.
