Paris Jackson was quite young when her father and pop icon Michael Jackson passed away rather unexpectedly on June 25, 2009. The world mourned the loss of a musical visionary whose ceaseless energy and constant innovation continues to inspire a slew of contemporary artists who must create music in the wake of his enduring legacy. However, for Paris, she lost her father who would not get a chance to witness her mature into the beautiful young woman she has become.
A photo that has been created by an Instagram user by the name of krafty_mj_stuff imagines Michael, Paris and ex-wife Debbie Rowe embracing one another in a loving and intimate portrait. While the scenario is obviously fabricated, the image clearly moved Paris, who shared the post on Twitter.
In a follow-up tweet, Paris admits "I think it's nice to dream about what it would be like to have parents, and to have it put into something i can see, even if it's a fan made edit."
Paris was only 11 years-old when her father passed away at the age of 50, and eventually moved in with her grandmother Katherine Jackson in the aftermath of his harrowing death. After years of not talking, Jackson's middle child eventually reunited with her estranged mother and have since grown close.
