JR Smith does a 180, admits to not knowing scoreline.

JR Smith told reporters that after reflecting for over 24 hours, he's come to view his performance in Game One a little differently. "After thinking about it a lot after the last 24 hours and however long it's been since the game was over, I can't say I was sure of anything at that point," Smith said. Smith's words contradict his previous claim that he knew the score was tied, half expecting a teammate to motion for a time-out.

Smith was asked if he recalled pleading his case to LeBron James after the buzzer, to which he responded "I'm not for sure, but I might have." The camera very accurately captured him trying to assuage a noticeably irate LeBron James after the play in question. JR Smith never the less remains focused on the task of rebounding quickly. The shooting told reporters he was all too familiar with being the butt end of jokes his whole life.

"I don't really dwell on things too much. I've been like that my whole life, and that's what it looks like it's going to continue to be. So I just got to go out there and be me. I told somebody right after the game that I'm glad it happened to me, as opposed to anybody else on my team." The fear of failure is something "Henny God" let pass long ago.

Tune in for Game Two tonight.
