Virgil Abloh's Off-White will continue its partnership with Nike in 2018, as the two brands ride the wave of their highly coveted collection of sneakers that released weeks ago. And as the new year approaches, speculation surrounding the upcoming Off-White x Nike project continues to mount.
In fact, there have even been several leaks of the alleged Off-White x Air Jordan 1 collabs that will be releasing in 2018. However, Virgil Abloh recently confirmed that at least one of the rumored collabs is not real.
Commenting on an instagram photo of an all-white version of the Off-White x Air Jordan 1, Abloh simply wrote, "Not real." He has posted this message on multiple IG accounts that have shared the photo.
Although Virgil Abloh dubbed the kicks "not real," Sole Collector notes that style codes have recently leaked, revealing that a white colorway of his Jordan 1 is coming. In addition to this all-white rendition, there are also rumors that a UNC-inspired Off-White x Air Jordan 1 collab is in the works for 2018, but there's no word on the validity of those rumors.
Nike has confirmed that the Off-White partnership will extend into next year, so there's certainly more in store from Abloh and The Swoosh, it just remains to be seen exactly which pairs will make it to retail.
