The natural pairing of Curren$y and Action Bronson should come as no surprise. They both share similar aesthetics, and are big fans of classic films, cars, and apparently, speed boats.
This is demonstrated fully in their new video for "Scarab 38," off Curren$y and Harry Fraud's new project, The Marina EP. Not only is the song's title named after a classic speed boat, but the video features classic footage of an explosive chase through the canals of Miami or Los Angeles.
The video has an initial feel similar to Bronson's video for "The Symbol," though there's no wigs or kung-fu kicks to be found here. Instead we get retro sports cars and beach babes in what could be lifted straight from the film roll of a Miami Vice episode.
