World's Fair are building hype for their upcoming album New Lows (which releases next week on Fool's Gold) with a new song "Dundas Street West." The new track's creepy synths echo over intricate and wordy bars from two members of World's Fair and one feature, Freaky Franz, who hasn't released a rap song in years (check out his "Karl Malone" from 2010). Centred around a repetitive hook "high as hell, fly as hell, no YSL, n****a know we live," the rappers take turns rapping out their party nights, presumably on Dundas Street West in Toronto, switching back and forth between inside and outside, smoking and not smoking, doing coke and drinking Hennessy.
A week ago, the group released a video for "win4", also off the upcoming New Lows, where they wander through the empty nighttime streets of New York dressed as city workers. Watch it here.
Quotable Lyrics
I'm yellin' please
Just watch my feet, just watch my feet
These threes a piece
Don't chase the days
These Common Ps
I'm Polo fleek
