Utah Jazz rookie Donovan Mitchell expressed frustration at some of the calls James Harden has been getting from officials following last night's crushing Game 4 loss. Harden only took eight free throws during the Rockets' 100-87 victory, but Mitchell was clearly unhappy with the way the 2018 NBA MVP candidate has been drawing fouls throughout the series.
After leaving the court last night, Mitchell said, “If that’s what he needs to win the fucking MVP, fuck it."
Harden finished with 24 points on 8-of-22 shooting, while Chris Paul added a game-high 27 points to go along with 12 rebounds, six assists and two steals in the win. Donovan Mitchell once again led the Jazz in scoring with 25 points, in addition to his nine rebounds & four steals.
Jazz head coach Quin Snyder cited his team's inability to score at the rim as the main reason Utah came up short in Game 4.
"We missed 22 shots at the rim," Utah coach Quin Snyder said, per ESPN. "We had our chances and didn't convert. Some of them were contested. Some of them were open. You're not going to get any better shot."
With last night's win in Utah, the Rockets have secured a commanding 3-1 lead in the series as the two teams head back to Houston for Game 5 tomorrow night.
