Drake has been sharing the wealth and encouraging his fans to do good to one another since he released the video for "God's Plan." Drizzy donated all of the near million-dollar budget that was allocated by the label for the video to charitable causes. The video shows him granting a scholarship to a lucky student, buying out the grocery store for shoppers and gracing children at a homeless shelter with his presence (and tons of necessities.) The 6ix God wasn't done there, as he updated his Instagram story to challenge his fans to do something to make their peers smile, similar to XXXTentacion's Helping Hand Challenge last month.
Drake may not be done here, though, as the Overtown Youth Center, which he visited in the music video, posted that they're looking forward to future collaborations with the artist. The OYC captioned a repost of Drake's IG shot with, "Thanks @champagnepapi for choosing us! We got work to do.... Let's give them a fighting chance to succeed! Looking forward to working with you and your team on our next big project #godsplan #OYCDrakeCollabo."
It is reported that Drake will be aiding the center with their intentions to expand and build a possible studio to widen the reach of the organization. It's great to see public figures stepping up and using their platforms to promote positivity and helping the less fortunate. Keep on doing you, Drake
