Russ isn’t one to drop a lot of projects, but he’s always releasing new music. It feels like on any given day or week the ATL rapper could hit with some new music, and that's just what happened today. For the second straight Friday, following last week's “Dangerous,” Russ decides to come through and share a new self-produced record called “Don’t Fall For It.”
Serving as a “message to the youth….” the song finds Russ informing kids to not fall for the fake shit on social media and believing everything these rappers are doing & saying nowadays. “Postin drugs all the time dont fall for it/ Postin guns all the time dont fall for it. Postin money all the time dont fall for it,” he spits on the chorus.
Take a listen to the self-produced cut and let us know what you think.
Quotable Lyrics:
Promoting lean but they say they’re for the youth type artists
Do as I say not as I do type artists
Y’all are locust
Poisoning the youth for clicks
What’s your addiction gotta do with always posting it
Smiling playin games makin skits makin jokes with it
You can’t say you’re opposed to it when you’re constantly promoting it
Y'alls Instagrams are drug abuse how to’s
