Dropping in a few days, the hype for Jay-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail continues to grow, and after previously giving us the tracklist and features, Jigga drops off the cover art.

The album will feature Rick Ross, Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean, and even Beyonce, and is dropping on July 4th with a special release from Samsung, as part of The Roc honcho's sponsorship deal with them. Electing to go simple, the cover bares "MCHG" representing the title.

Think he over simplified the cover, or is it dope?  Weigh-in in the comments below.

The Samsung Galaxy app art circulated the other day, deemed to be the official album cover art for Jay-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail. However, now Jay's Life + Times blog has revealed the official artwork for Magna Carta

Although Life + Times debuted the art online, in the real world you can visit an installation hosting Hov's cover art in the UK, at the Salisbury Cathedral, which houses one of four surviving original 1215 Magna Carta documents.

Check out the actual album art in the gallery above, as well as images of the installation Jay has in the Salisbury Cathedral Chapter House. The installation will be  on display through out the month of July.
