HNHH PREMIERE: C5 delivers an "Everyday" slapper with Yhung T.O.

Oakland's C5 doubles on his word to give thanks where applicable. The youth mentor-turned-rapper is a wishful thinker always looking for greater outlets to service the greater community. The same can be said for Yhung T.O. and his mates at SOB x RBE. The general idea is to forego faux humanitarian causes like the ones you see on Instagram: wild extroverts handing out paper with the camera lens on.

On "Everyday" C5 communicates a strong desire to stay focused on his own means of acquisition and mind the business of others. Rather than go into fiber optics, he speaks in truisms, of an old guard where individuals move in dignified silence. C5 would be the first to admit that enrolling in a post-secondary program is what turned his life around, before he discovered his musical talents.

On the other hand, Yhung T.O. continues to pick and choose his running mates. With music lined up in the near future, T.O. knows full well his volume pitch will soon pay dividends. On "Everyday" he slides in effortlessly as C5's preferred option. Yhung T.O. is generally allowed free reign when enlisted on a project. There simply isn't a job replacement for what he brings to the table.

As C5 would have it the choice was simple:

“It was only right I tapped in with Yhung T.O. to infuse my sound with his since he’s one of the hottest artists out the Bay and that’s my home base. The song has an aspirational message behind it because I came from being in the trenches EVERYDAY to working at being one of the greatest artist of my time, EVERYDAY!”

Quotable Lyrics:

Hang in the projects
You know we on that nonsense
Gotta get my cake up
Thank God when I wake up
You know we on that nonsense

-Yhung T.O.
