Chief Keef is once again a free man. After serving his 60 days probation at a juvenile detention center for violating his probation, Keef was released today.
Keef had been ordered by a judge to be held in the detention center because it was deemed his Pitchfork interview, where he visited a gun range and held a gun, was violation of his probation. The rapper left the facility today, having been picked up by his uncle, Alonzo Carter. Keef's attorney Dennis Berkson says that the case is now closed and the rapper is no longer under court supervision, as DNAinfo reports.
This afternoon a tweet from Chief Keef's account confirmed his freedom, "He is on his way bk We about 2 turn up Gbe Retweet."
Chief Keef's new freedom coincides with new visuals from the GBE rapper, just released today, appropriately titled, "Now It's Over."
We previously reported that the rapper would get baptized upon his release-- now we'll have to wait and see if that actually happens.
