The Cleveland Browns have been aggressive so far this off-season, trading for quarterback Tyrod Taylor and wide receiver Jarvis Landry, and now adding former San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde via free agency.
According to reports by NFL Network and ESPN, Hyde is expected to sign a three-year deal with the Browns worth more than $15 million, including $6 million in the first year. The 27-year old running back played all 16 games for the 49ers last season for the first time in his career. He led the team in rushing yards and had a career-high eight rushing touchdowns in addition to 59 receptions for 350 yards.
The Cleveland Browns have also signed former Detroit Lions tight end Darren Fells, and traded for cornerback Damarious Randall, who played his first three seasons with the Green Bay Packers.
And there's still more to come. The Browns have the 1st and 4th overall picks in the upcoming NFL Draft, which kicks off on April 26th.
