"I’m letting y’all know I’m bout to takeover this Thursday," - Nicki Minaj.

Nicki Minaj is back. After hinting at her return over the past couple days with some mysterious tweet & delete moves, Nicki announced on Tuesday that she’s dropping two new singles on Thursday called “Chun-Li” & “Barbie Tingz.” It’s unknown at the moment if these two singles will serve as the first taste of her upcoming album, which is expected to drop later this year, but one would think they will be.

A couple hours after the announcement was made however, Nicki decided to takeover Lil Uzi Vert’s IG account and announce the singles once again on his page, saying that she never left, but was counting up big bags.

“Hey it’s @nickiminaj I’m letting y’all know I’m bout to takeover  This Thursday . I never left I was counting up Big Bags. 🦄💕💁🏽‍♀️💰. Don’t forget @liluzivert Keep Gettin That Money and don’t worry bout No Haters 💋💋 ..... Hit me up wen you get ya phone back ☎️💗,” she captioned the post.

Thursday’s singles will serve as the first offering we’ll receive from Nicki this year. She last impacted our site back in December when she hopped on A$AP Ferg’s “Plain Jane” remix, but has been MIA working on her album ever since.

Check out Nicki’s message via Uzi’s IG page (below) and look for her official return Thursday at 1 PM EST. Who’s excited to hear Nicki’s new music?

UPDATE: It turns out Nicki didn't write that after all and was just a classic internet troll job.
