Lil Wayne and Birdman have been through a lot over the years but, at the end of the day, there's likely a strong mutual respect between the two that will continue to keep them together. Despite their well-documented beef, the two linked up at Miami's LIV nightclub and hugged it out, settling their differences for a short moment to remember the good times. It has been reported that Weezy and Birdman have been attempting to squash their beef for months now, with Birdman guaranteeing last month that Tha Carter V would be dropping this year.
As low-key as they may have intended their show of affection to be, people caught it and many were excited to think of the possibilities. A hip-hop legend in his own right, 50 Cent chimed in on the event, on social media as he always does, declaring their potential reunion a "real hip-hop moment." The New Yorker added "HATE IT or LOVE IT you can’t stop it," while shamelessly plugging a hashtag of one of his TV shows, The Oath.
Whatever was discussed in their conversation is unknown but we're hoping Wayne gets his money soon enough and a release date is decided for Tha Carter V. 50's opinion is valid here as he's seen plenty of iconic moments come and go so for him to claim this as one of the top moments is exemplary in itself.
