Miguel had reportedly been ordered not to jump over the crowd at the Billboard Music Awards.

Miguel's leg-drop situation doesn't seem to be improving. First, it seemed like everything would be fine, as the victim of his infamous leg-drop at the Billboard Music Awards seemed to be in good spirits following the incident. Soon enough, the victim, Khyati Shah, was considering a lawsuit. Things continued to get worse for Miguel, as we reported just yesterday that Shah's lawyer says she may be suffering from neurologocial damage because of the incident. Now, it seems like Miguel is in even more trouble. Apparently, Miguel had been ordered not to jump over the crowd at the BMAs.

TMZ reports that the producers of the Billboard Music Awards felt it would be too dangerous for Miguel to attempt jumping over the crowd, thus they ordered him not too. The r'n'b singer had apparently approached the producers with this idea at the rehearsal of the event, and although it was quickly shot down, Miguel went through with it anyways.

[UPDATE: A rep for Miguel denies that the singer was ordered not to jump over the crowd.]

As we reported earlier today, the producers of the Billboard Music Awards are apparently claiming that they warned Miguel not to jump over the crowd prior to the event, however, he did not listen.

The plot thickens, as now we have a rep for Miguel saying that Miguel was given no such orders. The rep tells TMZ, "The reports claiming that Miguel was warned by producers not to jump are completely false."

Apparently, a source close to Miguel is saying that the producers even made a point of asking Miguel if he was going to jump over the crowd, as they didn't want to miss it on camera.

As for reaching out to Khyati Shah, the main victim that felt Miguel's leg-drop, the rep for the singer says, "A number of attempts were made to reach Khyati and her lawyer after the performance to see how she was doing and whether any assistance could be offered."

We'll update you as this story continues to unfold.
