Following the premiere of his latest Netflix film Bright, Will Smith has been doing a slew of interviews to promote the film. While being interviewed on The Graham Norton Show, the actor reminisces on his past career, delving into the series that made the actor a household name and propelled him to Hollywood's A-List.
Smith reveals that he can't bring himself to watch his performance on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, noting how "It was my very first role, and I was very, very focused on being successful, so I learned the whole script and everyone else’s lines." The actor goes on to say that "If you watch the first four or five episodes, you can see I’m mouthing other people’s lines. It’s terrible and I can’t bear to watch it."
As the conversation rolled onwards, he was inevitably questioned about a potential Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot. Fuelled by speculation caused by a cast reunion photo that went viral, Smith tackled these rumours head-on, noting how the photo was taken for a charity luncheon held by star Karyn Parsons.
Furthermore, Smith jokingly admitted that if a Fresh Prince reunion were to ever materialize, he admits that "I'd have to play Uncle Phil in that one now - I'm nearly 50!"
