After announcing the project just last week, rising Florida artist Sylan LaCue decides to come through today and share a new visual album called Florida Man, which is dedicated to his late grandmother Ruth Williams who passed away back on May 18th. All proceeds from the project will also go towards South Florida charities via wiseup.co.
Containing 10 tracks & videos, the follow up to last year’s Apologies In Advanced project features guest appearances from Prez P, G-Mighty, Jeff Rambo, Sin & more.
“I wanted to create something the city would be proud of and also just be a statement in itself," LaCue said. "Let's bring people together. It also gives a new meaning to the term Florida Man. It's like taking something that's supposed to have a negative connotation and flipping it. This is what's really going on out here, and now, more than ever, we need to stick together. That's why this is all non-profit. I'm not making anything off it.”
Out now, fans can stream the project in its entirety via his soundcloud page and watch the full visual album right here.
