"I'm really fucking hurt."

It was last week that Joe Budden confirmed his official exit from Complex and the Everyday Struggle platform that he played a huge role in creating and bringing to notoriety.  It was in an episode of his own podcast that Mouse broke down his reasons for not renewing a contract for 2018, citing plenty of internal struggle and distaste for the show's direction as a few reasons that ultimately led to his departure.

Since then, the whole world has had an opportunity to chime in on the news, save for one very important individual who managed to maintain a bit of silence on the subject until Sunday (December 24). Co-host Nadeska Alexis finally stepped into the boxing ring which is the internet to voice her own opinion of how things panned out, detailing the hurt that she felt as a result of Joe Budden's decision in a series of tweets.

"I'm really fucking hurt," penned Aexis in one tweet. "After a successful but extremely rocky year behind the scenes, I was looking forward to a holiday break, so that we -- Joe, Akademiks, myself -- could return in January, stronger than ever."

Previously, Complex reasoned to fans that Joe Budden's notable absence from the show in the past few episodes of the year were due to a paternity leave as he and girlfriend Cyn Santana recently welcomed a newborn baby boy. It was when Joe revealed that this was not the case that he also confirmed that he would not be returning

"That little dysfunctional family we built has been through a lot, but I felt like it was only the beginning of our journey," Nadeska also went on to say. "I was wrong...now part of me feels naive for even believing it would last."
