Assasin's Creed is one of the more entertaining and popular role-playing adventure games on the market. The series captivated gamers with intriguing storylines that intersected with historical events and intricate gameplay. Game developer Ubisoft has been cranking out Assasin's Creed games annually since 2007, and now they have announced the next title in the franchise.
Ubisoft was forced to announced Assassin's Creed Odyssey due to leaks prior to E3. E3 is the biggest video game expo in the US, and it takes place in two weeks. Every video game publisher and developer will be showing off their new games at the expo, and Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo will be showcasing upgrades to their consoles as well. The first Assassin's Creed Odyssey leak came in the form of keychains. According to Kotaku, pictures of Greek warrior helmet keychains for Assassin's Creed Odyssey hit the web this week, causing gamers to speculate on both the title and the location of the game. Shortly after the gaming community began sharing their opinions on the game, Ubisoft took to social media to announce Assassin's Creed Odyssey alongside a very brief teaser trailer. In the trailer, one character kicks another off a cliff in a beautiful setting that looks to be placed on the Mediterranean. Ubisoft will release further details at E3.
