M.I.A. will be calling Brooklyn home for herself and her son, at least, that's if she wants to stay with her son. The rapper was threatening to bring her four year-old son, Ikhyd, back to her home country of England, but the father of the child was having none of it.
M.I.A.'s baby daddy, Benjamin Bronfman, son of Seagram's billionaire Edgar Bronfman Jr., got a temporary restraining order for M.I.A. in court earlier this week, so that she couldn't take their son to England. Both M.I.A. and Benjamin currently reside in Brooklyn, separately, and their son goes to school there.
On Twitter M.I.A. accused her wealthy ex of trying to "to take my child away from me," but she has yet to comment on the recent legal action.
