Virgil Abloh and Nike have created some particularly eye-catching designs in the past, and the two fashion stalwarts have linked up once again for a collaboration inspired by the forthcoming Fifa World Cup.
As soccer fanatics ready themselves for the tournament, Nike and Off-White are giving fans a new selection of apparel, footwear and accessories to wear whilst watching your favourite team compete for the top prize. Abloh was inspired by the traditional make-up of jerseys, with brand sponsors featured prominently on the selection of clothing. However, the designer added some personal touches to the gear, as lion jugging dots make an appearance on select pieces in the outing, which vividly recall key strike points on the shoe. Additionally, a checkerboard pattern, which references Czech strips, can be seen elsewhere in the collection.
The clothing is expected to be released on June 14th, which is the official kick-off to the World Cup. Peep some images from the collaboration below:
