Drake may not be a basketball player but he does enjoy trash talking while he sits on the sidelines at Raptor's home games. It's nothing new really, he's done this ever since he was dubbed the Global Ambassador for the Toronto Raptors. However, a recent encounter may have been the last straw. After a confrontation with Kendrick Perkins during The Cavs vs. Raptors game a few days a go, the rapper was issued a warning by the NBA for his "use of foul language." Too Short recently chimed in on it and while he did laugh at Drake, he suggested that his antics might be working out in the Cavs favor.
Too Short was caught up by TMZ recently and spoke on Drake's recent warning from the NBA over his choice of words. While Drake might intend to throw off the opposing team with the trash talking, Too Short suggests that his antics might be working in the opposing way he intended. While he did have a good laugh at the fact that Drake got a warning, he said the Raps might be leading the series if Drake wasn't sitting on the sidelines.
"The Raptors are down 0-2... it might be 1-1 or 2-0 Raptors if he wasn't sitting on the sidelines," he said. "He's motivating other teams!"
He later explains that although he's a Warriors fan, there's another team he wouldn't seeing win.
